Will we see the coffin being moved from the chapel after the service?

No, the coffin is not moved until all relatives and friends have left the chapel.

Can we choose the music to be played at the Crematorium?

Yes, the crematoriums have an excellent music system offered by Obitus. They can also arrange visual tributes and webcasting. A recording of the service may also be available on a DVD, USB or downloadable video.

Can family members carry the coffin?

Yes, family members can carry the coffin as long it is safe to do so on the day. We will talk through this option with you if this is something you would like to consider.

Am I able to place personal items into the coffin?

Yes, you can put personal items in the coffin, however, we cannot allow any metal and glass items.

Can my loved one be dressed in their own clothes?

Yes they can, alternatively we can dress the deceased in one of our gowns.

What about collecting charitable donations?

We, as your Funeral Director will take responsibility for managing and collecting any donations, if you wish. We will ensure everyone knows where, when and how to make a contribution and send the donations to your chosen charity.

Can we visit the deceased before the funeral?

Yes, you can visit the deceased at a mutually convenient time.

Where will the deceased be kept until the funeral?

The deceased will be cared for in a chapel of rest.

Do you offer home visits for initial consultations?

Our consultations are always at a venue of your choice.
