Direct Cremation is a simple, affordable funeral option, often advertised nationally by larger providers.

At Samson Bairstow, we provide this service locally in Queensbury, Bradford and Halifax, using your local crematorium and keeping your loved one in our care throughout.

This includes:

  • Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements.

  • Collecting and transporting the deceased person from the place of death (normally within 15 miles of the Funeral Director’s premises) into the Funeral Director’s care.

  • Care of the deceased person in our Funeral Director’s Facilities.

  • Providing a suitable coffin with a medium oak finish.

  • At a date and time agreed with the Funeral Director, taking the deceased person directly to the crematorium

  • Returning the ashes to the family
