Samson Bairstow & Sons Ltd is an independent, family-run Funeral Director based in Queensbury, ideally located on the border of Bradford and Halifax. We can arrange funeral services at crematoria and places of worship across the Bradford and Halifax area. While many of the families we support choose Park Wood Crematorium in Halifax because of it’s convenient location, we also regularly arrange services at Scholemoor Crematorium, Oakworth Crematorium or Shay Grange Crematorium, depending on each family’s wishes.

Some families choose to hold the full service at the crematorium, while others prefer a service in a local church followed by a committal at the crematorium.

There is also the option to hold a full service in a church and then proceed with a private direct cremation. This can be a more cost-effective and flexible choice, allowing families to focus on the service without the need for a crematorium ceremony.
